PhD student of Sonia Ben Mokhtar since March 2022. He obtained an engineering and master’s degree in computer science at ESI Algiers in Algeria. His research interests cover blockchain and confidential computing.

Yacine Belal

PhD student of Sonia Ben Mokhtar since January 2022. He obtained his master’s degree in computer science, with a specialization in intelligent, interactive and autonomous systems, at the University of Western Brittany in co-accreditation with ENIB and IMT Atlantic of Brest. His research is devoted to privacy preserving machine learning and distributed systems.

Matthieu Bettinger

PhD student of Sonia Ben Mokhtar since January 2022. He obtained his double-degree of Dipl.Ing. Informatique INSA Lyon in France and M.Sc. Computer Science Uni.Passau in Germany. His research interests include security, fairness, and efficiency in decentralized systems.

Prof. Dr. Sonia Ben Mokhtar

Sonia Ben Mokhtar is a CNRS research director at the LIRIS laboratory (UMR 5205) and the head of the distributed systems and information retrieval group (DRIM). She received her PhD in 2007 from Université Pierre et Marie Curie before spending two years at University College London (UK). Her research focuses on the design of resilient and privacy-preserving distributed systems.

Omar Hasan is Associate Professor at the LIRIS laboratory, INSA Lyon. His research interests include computational trust, information privacy, and decentralized systems.

Dr. Gilles Fedak (HdR)

PhD in computer science from the University of Paris Sud. After a post-doctorate at the University of California in San Diego, he became an INRIA researcher at ENS Lyon. He is the recipient of the Chinese PIFI prize. Gilles Fedak is CEO and founder of iExec, a cloud computing platform based on blockchains.

Dr. Anthony Simonet-Boulogne

PhD in Computer Science from the École Normale Supérieure de Lyon in 2015. He has worked on problems related to distributed computing, cloud computing and blockchain at Inria, Rutgers University and has been Scientific Project Manager at iExec since 2019.
